Wirecard has collaborated with Fitbit to offer contactless payments using Fitbit Pay across Europe.

In the next couple of weeks, all Fitbit Pay customers in Europe will be able to benefit from boon mobile payments, developed by Wirecard.

The boon mobile payment solution is a seamless and secure fully digital payment method to make mobile payments at the point of sale. This allows customers to leave their physical wallets at home and be mobile phone free.

From today, users from Italy, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland and the UK will be able to add their digital boon cards to Fitbit Pay and make secure purchases with their Fitbit Ionic or Fitbit Versa smartwatch devices anywhere that Mastercard Contactless is accepted.
