Barclaycard, part of Barclays Retail and Business Banking, has introduced a new credit card to use abroad.

The new Platinum travel credit card does not charge fee until the end of August 2018, after that date a 2.99% fee will be charged from cardholders on every transaction.

If the users do not pay off their balance in full each month, they will be charged 11.9% rep APR on purchases and a hefty 27.9% on cash withdrawals.

Barclaycard said that the people with 21 years of age or with an income of more than £20,000 per year can apply for the card.
