Worldline, a subsidiary of Atos for e-payment services, has partnered with PAY.ON in a move to expand its international e-payment acceptance coverage.

The latest partnership helps Worldline to better support its customers during cross-border operations and when entering new markets and countries.

The integration into the PAY.ON Payment Gateway also provides Worldline with the immediate access to an better payment gateway, the processing of transactions in over 100 countries, as well as access to about 350 payment providers and 150 payment brands over a single API.

It also allows Worldline customers to connect to a variety of foreign acquirers and payment methods for processing of local payment transactions across the world.

PAY.ON Product and Integration vice president, Wolfgang Berner, said, "Our Payment Gateway enables Worldline to expand its global presence within a short time frame and without regional-specific payment barriers whilst delivering the highest quality and security standards."

Speaking about the partnership, Worldline COO and Merchant Services head Christophe Duquenne said, "Our connection to PAY.ON Payment Gateway will extend our geographical coverage for Merchant Services Online Payment globally, so we can offer our customers a wide range of payment methods and worldwide acquirer connectivity."
