WireCash.com, an online and mobile marketplace for international money transfers, has signed an agreement to offer the services of Maxi Money Services, a US licensed money transmitter.

Maxi Money Services provides money transfers to 16 countries, including Mexico, El Salvador, Brazil and other countries in Latin America.

It offers real-time payout services to a network of more than 40,000 locations including recipient banks and retail outlets, for deposit to account, cash pickup and home delivery.

WireCash CEO and co-founder Ran Grushkowsky said: “Maxi Money Services is a significant brand to add to our marketplace. Their unique money transfer services will be well received by online consumers. Adding a large, standout brand marks a significant step forward for WireCash, as well as Maxi, as their money transfer services can now be accessed from any computer or smartphone.”

Maxi Money Services president and CEO Luis Cerrilla said: “I’m very excited to announce our entrance into the WireCash money transfer marketplace. We can now leverage the online and mobile channel to serve a new segment of customers that we were not serving before. It is an excellent progression in the growth of our business.”

Over $135bn is sent abroad by US residents each year, according to the World Bank.
