Wirecard, a Germany-based provider of solutions for electronic payment transactions, and telecom firm Drillisch have signed a strategic cooperation in the field of mobile payments.
Under the agreement, Drillisch will provide Wirecard’s ‘boon’ brand mobile payment solution, which is scheduled to be rolled out in summer this year.

The new solution will be marketed by Drillisch’s two subsidiaries, etelon AG and yourfone GmbH.
