Wirecard, with its Indonesian subsidiary Prima Vista Solusi, has teamed up with Bank Mega to support Carrefour Indonesia with POS solution and integrated payment capability.

Wirecard will provide the complete technical infrastructure integrated in the front-end store system at the retail stores as well as the online payment processing over the Wirecard gateway while Bank Mega will assume the role of credit card acquirer.
The partnership will allow customers to pay contactless with their NFC credit or debit cards in all chip and PIN ready Indonesian Carrefour retail stores.
Prima Vista Solusi managing director Rudy Khowara said: "Our flexibility and international expertise in providing both, innovative point-of-sale solutions and integrated payment capabilities, were the key criteria for Carrefour and Bank Mega to partner with Wirecard.
"Our POS platform offers convenience to users and also supports instalment payment plans, loyalty systems and multi-bank routing for various issuers’ campaigns."
