Western Union Company, a US-based payment services provider, has launched its new transactional web site in Russia in cooperation with Moscomprivatbank.
The payments provider now has online transactional services in 24 countries, enabling consumers to send money to more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.
According to Western Union, consumers in Russia will now be able to send fast, convenient and reliable money transfer transactions through its new website.
Additionally, consumers can send money to Western Union’s network of more than 500,000 agent locations across the globe, while the receivers can opt to direct the funds into a bank account at select Western Union account-based money transfer (ABMT) relationships.
Western Union Digital senior vice president and general manager, Khalid Fellahi, said: "Western Union continues to grow its online transactional network and increase consumer access to our services worldwide.
"We will continue to explore opportunities that increase speed to market for new Western Union online services around the world."
