WePay, a provider of payments-as-a-service for online platforms, has expanded its services into the UK to expand its reach into the white label payment sector including crowdfunding and other marketplaces.

The company also extended its fraud risk protections, compliance and support offerings to new UK business.

The company worked closely with numerous UK and EU regulators, banking partners, and the credit card associations to enter the UK market.

WePay CEO Bill Clerico said: "Going international has traditionally been a frustrating process for companies that offer payments. By partnering with WePay, platforms can now integrate once and immediately offer the same level of payments service on both sides of the Atlantic, safely and seamlessly."

To support this expansion as well as the company's growth in North America, WePay opened new offices in London and Providence, Rhode Island.

The London office will focus on overseas business development, while the Providence office will deliver customer support during UK and US business hours, the company said.
