The announcement follows Visa’s recent revamp of Visa Infinite from a “fixed premium tier to an adaptive proposition”.

Visa is positioning the update in Asia Pacific around rising affluence in the region. The payments company cited projections that affluent households in Asia Pacific will grow at an 8% compound annual growth rate through 2030.

The updated Visa Infinite programme combines “curated experiences” and “a global network of partners” around “intelligent payments”, it said in a statement.

The company added these capabilities are designed to simplify day-to-day payments, support higher-value transactions, and enable secure card sharing with authorised delegates.

Visa Asia Pacific Products & Solutions head TR Ramachandran said: “Visa has long helped shape premium experiences for affluent consumers across Asia Pacific.

“As expectations evolve toward more intentional and globally connected experiences, we are building on that momentum. The refreshed Visa Infinite brings together our scale, innovation and partnerships to deliver more relevant and differentiated value for today’s affluent customers.”

According to the statement, the updated Visa Infinite suite offers a progression of benefits and access across three tiers. The structure is underpinned by payments capabilities such as elevated transaction limits, smart authorisation, cross-border issuance and “always-on” security.

Visa Infinite will remain the core tier, focused on everyday value and travel and lifestyle rewards.

Visa Infinite Privilege is positioned as the next tier, adding broader access and more curated experiences, while Visa Infinite Private sits at the top as an “invitation-only” tier for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, offering “bespoke services” and access to personalised experiences.

The refreshed premium proposition also includes access to chef-led culinary programme ‘Infinite Tastes: Beyond the Menu’ and travel platform Visa Destinations.
