Payments giant Visa has entered into a seven-year partnership agreement with Irish financial services provider Permanent TSB (PTSB) for a new card portfolio.
The partnership is an extension of Visa and PTSB’s already existing card-issuing contract.
Visa provides all consumer debit and credit cards as well as commercial debit cards issued by PTSB bank to its customers.
Permanent TSB said that the extended card portfolio contract with Visa will allow the bank to create and offer new digital payments solutions to cardholders.
The contract will also enable cardholders to continue availing the GoRewards loyalty offer provided by the bank.
Permanent TSB, a subsidiary of Permanent TSB Group Holdings, is a credit institution licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).
