Virtual Piggy, a US-based provider of Oink payment technology, has partnered with UK-based Visualsoft to offer secure payment solution for youth-market focused eCommerce sites.
Under the deal, 50 UK and EU merchants with a combined revenue of over £345m per annum will be contracted by end of Q2.
Oink will allow retailers and game publishers to reach consumers aged less than 21 years in a safe, legal and effective manner.
According to Virtual Piggy, the technology will allow teens to manage their allowances online, as well as shop safely, and track budgets and serve as a family wallet.
Visualsoft business development head, Rich Himsworth, said: "Integrating Oink into our payment offerings is a great addition to the Visualsoft eCommerce service. We’re excited to be able to partner with Oink in this way and open doors to the youth market for our youth-focused retailers."
Oink EMEA general manager, Joe Peden, added: "Visualsoft is an excellent partner for Oink as we continue to grow within the UK and European markets. Their expertise and relationships with thousands of retailers within the UK make this an exciting opportunity to continue our rapid international growth at an accelerated pace."
