Payment technology firm Verifone has unveiled a new mobile point-of-sale (POS) solution, called Verifone e 265, for merchants of all sizes.
Slated to launch in early 2016, the new solution will provide independent and micro merchants the flexibility to accept all major payment types and integrate with smart devices for value-added commerce capabilities.
Verifone e265, which can be integrated with any smart phone or tablet, will allow merchants to bring globally certified card payment acceptance such as EMV, contactless/NFC, mobile wallet and magnetic stripe to consumers in any merchant environment, the company said.
The integration will allow merchants to access e-commerce apps for delivering digital coupons, loyalty and rewards during the check-out process.
Using the mPOS terminal, merchants can enhance operational efficiency by integrating with a variety of business apps such as those used for tracking clients and inventory, the company added.
The offering meets latest PCI requirements, supports all devices, and connects through Bluetooth (wireless) and micro-USB.
