Vend, a cloud-based retail technology platform, has entered into a partnership with iZettle, a mobile payments provider, to offer retailers a mobile integrated payments solution for faster credit card payments processing.

The cloud-based system will add a portable card reader to the Vend Register iPad App, transforming iPads into mobile cash registers, in addition to providing security to the sales totals.
Combined with a barcode scanner and a Bluetooth receipt printer, the solution offers retailers a mobile POS environment thereby eliminating errors from dual entry of prices into a point of sale and into the card reader and speeding up the transaction.
Vend and iZettle will provide a limited time promotional offer for customers who sign up in January and February to receive a free chip and PIN card reader and free transactions for their entire first month.
