Everlink Payment Services has completed the migration of Valley First’s 24 ATMs and 58,518 of their members to its services.
The move will allow Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, to issue the latest in debit card technology, Interac Flash, to all of its members.
Interac Flash is a new contactless enhancement of Interac chip debit cards that make day-to-day small value transactions faster and more convenient for both merchants and consumers alike.
First West Credit Union CIO Darrell Jaggers said: "Converting our Valley First division to Everlink brings us one step closer to harmonizing leading edge ATM and Payments capabilities across all of First West Credit Union.
"Everlink has been a great partner for us on this initiative and have truly delivered on all of their promises. This has allowed us to deliver the conversion successfully, on time and within budget. Looking forward, we are very excited about the opportunities that lie ahead with Everlink as a strategic partner of First West and the Canadian Credit Union System overall."
