Bitcoin startup Unocoin has partnered with digital wallet company MobiKwik to boost Bitcoin adoption across India.

The partnership will allow Unocoin users to load their MobiKwik wallets using bitcoin.

Unocoin head of business strategic alliance Naveen C T said: "This partnership will help Unocoin users to use bitcoin across 50,000+ online merchants, 5000+ offline merchants and for utility bill payments through MobiKwik wallet. This service is now live on Unocoin.

The MobiKwik wallet can be loaded with a minimum amount of INR10 to a maximum of INR2,000 using bitcoin.

To load MobiKwik wallet using bitcoin, users will have to sign-in to Unocoin account.
