Indian software solutions provider ElectraCard
Services (ECS) has announced the launch of its e-commerce services
for Union Bank of India.
ECS’s electronic internet payment gateway –
electraECOMM is an online payment processing system that provides
transaction acquiring and processing interfaces to the users.

“Our bank is one of the forerunners amongst
the peer banks in the area of technology banking and the payment
gateway business fits strategically to our overall value
proposition to the target customers,” said Lalit Sinha, general
manager of Union Bank of India.
As well as electraECOMM, the bank has also
deployed electraSECURE, a new system that enables safe online
transactions.
