Ukash, a provider of online cash payment, has partnered with WHSmith to use the UK retailer’s network to extend awareness of Ukash as a payment option.

The agreement will allow consumers to buy Ukash vouchers from 470 high street press, book and stationery stores of WHSmith across the UK.

The partnership will allow shoppers to convert their cash into an Ukash voucher from a local branch of WHSmith and pay online in a convenient way without the need of a bank account or credit card.

James Allum, chief commercial officer at Ukash, said: "WHSmith is a leading UK brand, with an extensive network of stores, making it the ideal partner for Ukash, as we continue to help more consumers use cash to pay online.

"WHSmith is a name that consumers trust and by bringing Ukash into its stores we are raising awareness of our brand and increasing consumer choice for shopping and paying online."
