Tutuka, a prepaid card processor in South Africa, has selected UK-based Proxama’s EMV Transaction Manager to launch a new EMV-compliant card processing service.

Under the partnership, Tutuka offers the new card service for clients issuing Visa and MasterCard prepaid products.
Proxama said that its EMV Transaction Manager provides flexible, configurable and fully-featured EMV processing and scripting.
It also allows issuers to use their investments in existing systems by upgrading to full EMV capability with minimal change and minimal risk.
With Proxama’s EMV solution, clients such as Standard Bank and MasterCard will be able to benefit from the enhanced security that EMV offers.
