Credit card processor TSYS and payment terminals provider Equinox Payments, have launched a semi-integrated payments solution to enable Value-Added Resellers (VARs) swiftly and effortlessly develop and release EMV-certified technology to their customers.
The Voyager application is an EMV-certified solution that runs on the Equinox Apollo terminal. The app has been especially designed for lodging, as well as retail and restaurant environments.

The EMV liability shift exposes merchants to increased chargebacks and many of the legacy terminal solutions that support lodging functionality and impact their bottom line.

The new Voyager payment application supports a range of important features for the retail, restaurant and lodging industries.
To avoid storage of sensitive card data, payment amounts are passed from the POS to the Apollo terminal, which directly communicates to the processor for authorization, reporting the results back to the POS for transaction completion and receipt printing.
Compatible for stand-alone and semi-integration, the Voyager application is certified to support up to 20 multi-merchant configurations, as well as TSYS Guardian Encryption and TSYS Guardian Tokenization. It also supports Visa’s Quick Chip and MasterCard’s M/Chip Fast processing.
