Card acquirer and payments provider Truevo has launched a new POS solution in the UK, Ireland and Malta.
Truevo previously specialised in online, mobile and push payments, so the new offering marks an expansion into the card industry.

David Lio, Truevo CEO, said: “The Truevo point of sale product provides partners and merchants with a much needed, fast and easy solution. The terminals are some of the best in the market, and the turnaround to receive them is fast. It sounds simple, but providers aren’t offering a solution like this. We’re excited to compete in this space.”
To being with, Truevo is debuting a 24-hour approval period with a terminal dispatched within 48 hours. In addition, businesses in higher-risk industries will receive feedback from Truevo within four days.
According to the company, the average waiting time currently for business owners to receive a terminal is between four days and six weeks.

In December, the fintech collaborated with Newgen Payments to offer ISOs and PSPs a plug and play payment product.
