Total Uganda has launched a new cashless payment platform, dubbed Total Card, which can be used at all of its fuel services stations in the country.

The smart card, which uses a microchip and a PIN, enables users to monitor and manage their expenses on fuel, shopping, and other products and services.

Total Card provides access to the firm’s products such as Total Excellium and Total Quartz, as well as additional services, including vehicle servicing, washes, cooking gas, solar products and various convenience products in Bonjour shops.

Total Uganda managing director Florentin de Loppinot said: “Fuel cards are a tool to enhance our customers’ mobility and the new Total card will go a long way in making access to our product and services seamless and convenient.

“In developing this new card, we wanted to respond to our customers’ needs to manage their expenses better and save more money.”
