TiENPAY, a Hong Kong based mobile wallet software platform developer, has acquired AFSL licence to operate mobile wallet in Australia.
The company secured the licence through its newly incorporated Australian arm TiENPAY PTY LTD and plans to start beta test launch of its TiENPAY mobile wallet solution by middle December this year.
TiENPAY said that its mobile wallet solution will provide marketers with a new way to create and deliver branded content like offers, coupons and loyalty cards to their customer base, across all major online and offline channel.
The platform leverages native communication functionality within Apple Wallet and Android Pay to enable marketers to deliver time or location sensitive prompts directly to customers’ mobile devices.
TiENPAY CEO William TIEN commented: “The TiENPAY Mobile Wallet solution not only provides a more streamlined and simplified way for consumers to organise offers and loyalty cards, ensuring that they never have to worry about forgetting to bring physical versions of this content in-store ever again, but it also provides marketers with tracking, and location-aware content that is standardized by Apple and Google.
“These mobile wallets were built to help brands drive in-store visits, redemption and ROI, and statistics suggest that the vast majority of customers say their opinion of a brand would improve if given opportunities to save offers and loyalty cards to Apple Wallet and Android Pay.”
