Card manufacturer Thames Technology has launched its Frizbee digital and physical gift card delivery platform in the UK.

This new gift card delivery platform is designed to enable companies to create additional income with digital and physical gift cards.

It will also help companies in minimising the cost of operations for all prepaid activities, the company claims.

Furthermore, this solution allows businesses to create digital cards and voucher codes for both B2B and B2C customers while managing all gifting solutions in one place.

Using the platform, companies can also order and manage the stock of their physical gift cards through an online portal.

In addition to managing gift card requirements, the platform offers a solution for customer service teams to quickly process refunds and compensation through digital issuing of vouchers.

Thames Technology general manager Che Colford said: “We are extremely excited about bringing this new simple-to-use system to our UK customers. It will help businesses drive gift card revenue by creating a great seamless customer experience whilst saving organisational time and effort for both physical and digital gift card management.

“Gift cards have seen a huge surge in demand during the current pandemic, and digital delivery forms are beginning to form a vital part of companies’ gift card strategies during these challenging times.”

Thames Technology has rolled out the solution in 16 countries so far.

Last month, the company was selected by UK-based fintech firm Prepaid Financial Services to produce as many as 105,000 payment cards.

In November last year, French identification solutions provider Paragon ID took over Thames Card Technology.
