TD Bank Group has extended its US credit card program contract with Target Corporation (Target), following the initial seven-year agreement.
The two entities had signed the initial agreement when the lender completed the acquisition of Target’s US credit card portfolio in 2013.
Under the latest agreement, the bank will continue to be the exclusive issuer of Target co-branded and private label consumer credit cards to US customers of Target until March 2025.
TD Bank Group executive vice president, North American credit cards and merchant services Michael Rhodes said: "We are excited to continue our agreement with Target, a top brand with an industry-leading card and rewards program.
"Target is an exceptional partner for TD as we work together to grow the Target credit card program."
