The Belk Rewards Mastercard offers rewards on all in-store and online purchases.

Belk Rewards, Belk Rewards Premier, and Belk Rewards Elite cardholders can earn 3x points, 4x points, and 5x points, respectively.

Customers can earn 2x rewards for grocery and gas spends, while all other purchases will fetch 1x points.

The new card also comes with security benefits such as Mastercard’s zero fraud liability, purchase protection as well as identity theft resolution assistance.

Belk chief of stores Randy Whitaker said: “This new payment option offers greater flexibility and rewards at the same store our customers know and trust.”

For more than 13 years, Synchrony and Belk provided a store card associated with the Belk Rewards loyalty programme.

The new credit card is said to feature all benefits of the store card such as zero annual fee and no rewards limit, along with additional benefits for qualifying members.
