Sutherland Global Services has announced a partnership with mobile
payments provider Tyfone to develop NFC payments solutions for
financial institutions.
The Sutherland-Tyfone partnership intends to
offer banks the ability to provide “any banking product to any
mobile phone on any operating system over any network”.

While consumer demand for mobile payments has
yet to be proven, such outsourced services could prove popular with
banks looking to enter the market in a measured way.
