Sunova Credit Union has entered into a partnership with Everlink Payment Services and Collabria Financial Services to offer their customers Instant Credit Card Issuance service.
Scheduled to launch this fall, the new Instant Card Issuance (ICI) service will enable the credit union’s staff to immediately produce personalised MasterCard credit cards for their members and clients.
The offering will also eliminate the need to mail sensitive information to approved applicants.
Everlink said that upon implementation of ICI solution, Sunova will be the first credit union to offer contactless debit cards through ICI.
Sunova Credit Union president and CIO Dallas Kostna said: "This card has been designed to provide the best possible value and service to our members. Keeping convenience top of mind, it made sense to build on our relationship with Everlink and Collabria and be the first in Canada to offer credit cards printed directly in our branches – provided immediately after a member has been approved for their card, with no wait time."
Everlink president and CEO Mark Ripplinger said: "With Collabria’s value offering and expertise, we look forward to launching the new Instant Credit Card Issuance through our tri-partnership with Sunova Credit Union."
