Stripe has introduced a new billing portal that will simplify subscription management for end-users.

The launch was part of Stripe’s plan to rollout new products for its clients as the economy gradually rebounds.

The new customer portal for Stripe Billing will allow platforms to provide their customers with greater control to manage subscriptions.

According to the company, the portal will enable the customers manage subscription and billing details. The customers can also view their billing history as well as update payment information and select payment plans.

Stripe has also expanded its bank debit support to enable its clients to bolster presence in the international market.

The move includes support for Bacs Direct Debit in the UK, BECS Direct Debit in Australia, FPX bank debits in Malaysia, and Pre-Authorized Debits (PADs) in Canada.

This will provide international customers with more payment options at checkout increasing conversion rates and lowering costs.

The company also noted that several companies have integrated Stripe Billing as digital payments surged due to Covid-19 pandemic. It includes ChowNow, Cloud Kitchens, Figma, Masterclass, Notion, Slack and Smartsheet.

Stripe Product Growth head James Dyett said: “There’s no part of building a SaaS platform we don’t obsess about.

“From the new customer portal through to a dashboard that shows everything right down to MRR by product and plan, we’re consistently shipping features—from home—to make the process of building a SaaS platform effortless.”

Notably, Stripe raised $600m in April in an extension of its Series G funding round.
