The SmartMetric biometric card is available with a small EMV card reading USB adaptor for securing online transactions with the in-card fingerprint activation and user verification.

With a self powered in-card fingerprint reader, the wallet card is capable of storing multiple credit cards in its internal memory. It has eight gigabytes of memory in its base unit.
Card Wallet is activated when a person’s fingerprint is swiped across a pencil line thin sensor which captures an image of the card owner’s fingerprint and compares it with the user’s pre-stored fingerprint in the card’s memory.
The fingerprint matching and validation occurs in sub 1 second, using a ARM processor in the card, following which the SmartMetric all in one card wallet will have one of its surface EMV chip or internal NFC chip activated.
