Skrill, a London-based digital payments company, has launched its new Global Payment Suite, a platform that gives merchants enhanced card processing and alternative payment options.
Skrill includes security features and is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 certified, handling sensitive customer card details on its merchant’s behalf.
Global Payment Suite allows businesses to access improved credit and debit card processing, provides a range of international alternative payment options and also includes the Skrill Digital Wallet, all into one package.
Siegfried Heimgaertner, CEO of Skrill, said: "The introduction of Skrill’s Global Payment Suite supports merchants’ need to offer choice and flexibility to their customers while also making sure that they have a simplified experience that enhances conversion and encourages loyalty."
According to Skrill, the platform is aimed at merchants who want to expand into international markets, enabling them to accept payments from customers across the world.
"Skrill is breaking down the transactional boundaries that have previously been costly, complex and time consuming to overcome, enabling merchants to grow their business into new geographies, expanding their customer base and reducing risk associated with local economic climates."
