SinglePoint, a US-based mobile technology and full-service mobile marketing firm, has partnered with Advanced Content Services (ACS) to develop and deploy Cannabis Card, a rewards card that is used for the recently legalised medical and recreational marijuana industry.
Invented by ACS’s wholly-owned subsidiary, New Wave Prepaid Solutions, the Cannabis Card is currently under development for entry into markets.
Both SinglePoint and ACS will form a joint venture toward collectively beneficial revenues on Cannabis Card.
New Wave Prepaid Solutions director, Steve Devine, said SinglePoint CEO Greg Lambrecht has proven experience in the realm of prepaid products and retail distribution and holds tremendous potential for materialisation, rapid market entry and monetisation of Cannabis Card.
Lambrecht said New Wave is taking existing technology and turning out innovative solutions in profitable market sectors.
The Cannabis Card is expected to be launched during or before the third quarter of 2014.
