Italian payment processor SIA has launched a new website dedicated to Jiffy, a P2P payments service that allows users to send and receive funds on their smartphone using their phone contacts.
The website (jiffy.sia.eu) is totally responsive and can be used on PC, Smartphone and tablet.
SIA said that the website will enable users to learn how the service works and how to activate it, as well as a list of all the banks that have decided to sign up to the solution.
Jiffy has already been chosen by 13 Italian banking groups, representing around 80% of the country’s current accounts.
The P2P solution, which is based on SEPA credit transfer, is open to all the banks operating in the Single Euro Payments Area.
