Seylan Bank has rolled out Sri Lanka’s first-ever multi-currency travel card.
Seylan Travel Card is a chip enabled pre-paid Visa accredited card loaded with five wallets of multi-currencies; US dollars, Sterling Pounds, Euros, Saudi Arabian Riyals and Australian dollars.

The card will also offer users the convenience of accessing all five currencies simultaneous in any part of the globe.
The card can also pick the destination (transacted) currency to avoid any currency conversion fees to the customer.
The card will also allow its users free cash withdrawals at 2.2 million Visa accredited ATMs. It also has the added benefit of seamless online transactions.
Commenting on the launch, the bank’s CEO Kapila Ariyaratne said: "The Seylan Travel Card has been designed to do just that. Not only does it elevate the travel experience with the option of loading 5 types of currencies to one card, but also gives its users the luxury of doing business in all five currencies simultaneously in any part of the world."
