Canadian payments firm SelectCore has announced a five-year agreement with North American online affiliate marketing company AdBrokers over prepaid cards.

SelectCore will provide a private label payment card solution, issuing prepaid MasterCard cards for delivering commission payments to AdBrokers’ 108,000 active affiliates in Canada and the United States.

AdBrokers’ president Peter Dhillon said: "SelectCore’s expertise and award-winning card platform allow us to effortlessly issue payments to our affiliates while adding to our bottom line."

The marketing company says the platform will eliminate the need for cheques. Recipients will redeem their prepaid cars funds anywhere.

MasterCard is accepted worldwide at 29.4m locations – online and ATMs.

"With AdBrokers’ established network of affiliates, we anticipate being able to acquire a sizable number of cardholders over the term of our agreement," said Keith McKenzie, president of SelectCore.
