Swedish m-commerce software firm Seamless has joined forces with Xpress Money, a money transfer company, to foray into the international money transfer market.
Using Seamless’ mobile payment platform SEQR, both the companies will now be able to offer their customers a convenient, safer and affordable way of sending money from one country to another, digitally. Also, Xpress Money will use the SEQR platform to offer its customers the convenience of transferring their money digitally, anytime and from anywhere.
This deal will enable Xpress Money to further minimize the cost incurred by customers while sending money. Seamless and Xpress Money can offer the service in all countries, where the companies currently operate.
Seamless said that the integration is slated to complete during 2016.
Xpress Money offers services to customers including cash payouts, account credits, remit card or ATM, mobile wallets and door delivery services with regional offices in 25 countries including the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Philippines, UAE and India.
Xpress Money COO Sudhesh Giriyan said: "SEQR helps us meet that goal through their versatile digital platform and extensive market presence in Europe.
