Seamless, a Sweden-based mobile payments provider, has introduced its mobile payment service called SEQR in the Netherlands.

SEQR will allow consumers to buy products from a range of brands in Netherlands.

The new service works in physical stores and at online merchants, as well as through the SEQR Shop Spot, which turns anything into a possible sales channel through scanning a QR code from the surface.

The company says that SEQR Shop Spot accelerate the launch of the service and provides more consumers the smartest mobile payment service on the market.

Using SEQR, merchants can lower the interchange fees significantly, while consumers can transfer money between each other without any added cost.

Seamless said that consumers using SEQR will get a cashback reward of up to 3% on all purchases. SEQR has already been launched in the Swedish, Finnish, Romanian, Belgian and Portuguese markets.
