Card processor Realex Payments has announced the start of a three year partnership agreement with Encoded, a provider of interactive contact centre and online card payment tools.
According to the deal, the Realex Payments gateway will be integrated into Encoded’s product suite to complement the interactive voice response systems for card payments and data collection currently offered to customers.
Gordon Buckland at Encoded said: "Interactive voice response systems provide cost effective data collection, but the scope of this opportunity for business improvement is far greater for retailers when it is integrated with an online payment gateway that offers a broader range of functionality.
"Realex Payments offered us the level of compatibility we were looking for in a partner, including a fast set-up, excellent customer support and a streamlined billing process for greater convenience."
The deal is part of Encoded’s full software package, serving multiple sectors including retail, insurance, finance, travel and ticketing.
Andrew Yoakley, Head of Business Development at Realex Payments also commented: "In 2014 Realex Payments are strategically focused on developing strong relationships with potential and existing channel partners, to ensure our solution continues to best fit their needs."
