PulseWallet, a New Jersey-based electronic transaction POS provider, has launched its cardless point-of-sale (PoS) solution at CES International on 7-10 January 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The cardless PoS solution allows consumers to leave their bank cards at home and scan their palm for making payments at PoS. This is made possible with the use of PalmSecure biometric technology developed by Fujitsu Frontech North America.

The Fujitsu PalmSecure biometric palm vein sensors use a near-infrared light to scan and capture a user’s palm vein pattern, and then generates a biometric template that is matched against the encrypted palm vein patterns of pre-registered users.

PulseWallet CEO and co-founder, Aimann Rasheed, said for the first time the public will see how smoothly and efficiently the complete solution, integrated with Fujitsu’s PalmSecure technology, works for merchants and consumers alike.

"We encourage all attendees to visit our booth to see and experience the future of fast, accurate and flexible POS, today," Rasheed added.

The solution also allows merchants to provide most secure payment options and all-in-one payment system for consumers to access their electronic wallets.
