According to Setu, while paying a bill is a quick process, the time spent tracking and managing bills is significant for most consumers in India.

The new agentic assistant fetches all bills, identifies anomalies by comparing them with past patterns, and ensures timely payments each month.

The technology is designed to handle routine bill tasks, allowing consumers to set boundaries for the agent’s operation.

The bill-payment agent functions on rules defined by the consumer, ensuring that it never initiates an incorrect payment or exceeds preset spending limits.

The features of the agent include fetching all bills in real-time, checking for unusual charges, paying safely using pre-blocked funds, following consumer-set limits and approvals, and tracking spending patterns to provide helpful insights.
