OCBC Bank (Malaysia) has rolled out a new metal credit card, known as the OCBC Premier Voyage card, for its premier banking customers.
Touted as the first card of its type in the country, the new offering enables cardholders to redeem air miles for flights on any airline anytime, without any blackout dates.
Moreover, the OCBC Premier Voyage card does not charge any fees.
The card, made of duralumin, can be accessed by customers having assets under management with OCBC Bank of over MYR300,000 ($71,058.9), or a minimum of MYR2m ($473,653.5) in liabilities under management.
Cardholders can redeem flights on all airlines by utilising Voyage Miles from their OCBC Premier Voyage card through the Voyage Exchange concierge service.

By GlobalDataOCBC Bank head of consumer financial services Lim Wyson said: "Travel benefits feature most prominently in OCBC Premier Voyage as a reflection of the desires of this segment of affluent individuals. Even so, the offerings do go well beyond to include other uncommon features aligned to them as well.
"What we have done, in effect, is to remove the long-standing restrictions on travel miles redemption such as being able to redeem only on a limited number of airlines, inflexible travel periods due to blackout dates and expiry of miles.
"That means our customers would now have more than 1,000 airlines globally to choose from any time of the year, subject, of course, to their own seat availability and conditions."
