Oberthur Technologies, a French digital security company, has bolstered its portfolio in Canada by launching Interac-certified dual interface debit payment card and Motion Code EMV payment card to reduce card-not-present (CNP) fraud.
The newly launch dual interface payment card is a contactless Interac debit card, while the Motion Code card is a payment card that offers additional security.
The French technology firm said that in Motion Code card static printed code (CVV) is replaced by a mini-screen that displays an automatically refreshed code generated by an algorithm (dynamic CVV).
OT president for North America Martin Ferenczi said: "These products demonstrate OT’s continued commitment to meet the needs of the Canadian market. OT is proud to bring a new level of customer-focus and innovation to Canadian customers with the best-in-class payment products and services which are supported locally."
