Nuvei claims to be among the first worldwide payment processors to offer both Visa Direct for Account and Visa Direct for Card, bolstering its partnership with Visa in delivering quicker cross-border payments.

Previous alliances between the two firms include early adoption of Visa Direct for Card in Colombia and involvement with Visa’s Agentic Commerce initiatives.

The newly introduced capability operates on Visa’s network and complements Nuvei’s Visa Direct for Card payout service.

Nuvei noted that with one integration, companies can facilitate account-based payments in several currencies, along with faster access to funds for suitable card transactions.
