The Northern Illinois University Alumni Association has joined forces with First Bankcard, a unit of First National Bank of Omaha, to introduce the new NIU Alumni Visa Card.

The new card provides NIU alumni, faculty and staff a low intro rate on purchases, while helping them earn one point for each dollar spent.
It also offers cardholders 1,500 bonus points with first purchase made during the first three billing cycles, along with zero liability and purchase protection.
In addition, cardholders can secure Complete Rewards, which include cash back as a statement credit, merchandise, travel, gift cards as well as experiential rewards, including airfare, hotel stays and car rental.
