The North West Company, a Canada-based retailer, has partnered with Visa Canada to roll out a standardized direct deposit solution on its We Financial Visa Prepaid card to stores across Northern Canada.

The scalable, integrated direct deposit solution allows residents of Northern Canada to elect to receive payroll deposits and Federal and Provincial government benefit payments.
The reloadable card provides cardholders access to electronic payments for Canadians who live in remote communities in Northern Canada.
The solution allows cardholders to use a routing and account number format to sign up for direct deposit of Federal and Provincial government benefits and payroll.
Cardholders can register for the new solution by visiting their local Northern or NorthMart store or by contacting a customer service representative.
