UAE-based Noor Bank has partnered with SriLankan Airlines to launch a MasterCard credit card to extend the benefits of the airline’s FlySmiLes frequent traveller program to its Silver Tier members.

Silver Tier will be allocated to Noor Bank premier credit card customers with the FlySmiLes silver card allowing members access to the lounge at BIA Katunayake Airport in Colombo, priority check-in and baggage handling on all Srilankan Airlines flights at all of the airports.

The new card will privilege users to carry additional baggage of 12 kilograms on all flights besides endowing them with promotional offers for internet booking and for bookings made through Noor Bank’s travel desk.

Noor Bank business head of consumer finance Waleed Barhaji said: "Our alliance with SriLankan Airlines articulates this priority. We are confident that this new card will open up a world of convenience to our corporate and retail customers who travel frequently."

SriLankan Airlines head of commercial operations Fazeel Mohamed said: "SriLankan now offers a wide range of benefits to our frequent flyers, such as access to almost 1,000 destinations in over 150 countries, including Sri Lanka, India and the Far East."
