Dubai-based Noor Bank has collaborated with prepaid processor Global Processing Services to introduce the Emaar Gift Card, a MasterCard-branded chip and PIN prepaid card.

The new offering will be the first chip and PIN gift card to be brought to Dubai. It will allow shopping at more than 1,600 retail stores and dining in at over 400 restaurants in Dubai.
Noor Bank will be the issuing bank as part of the partnership.
Global Processing Services head of region MENA John Kerr said: "In partnership, all parties have worked to develop a unique prepaid gift card and we are delighted to have been a contributing party applying our extensive experience in developing and delivering a gift card programme."
Noor Bank head of GTS and corporate strategy Ehsaan Ahmed said: "There is a significant opportunity for banks and financial institutions to offer smart prepaid card solutions in the UAE market. We are pleased to be a partner of this initiative, which provides customers with a convenient alternative in this part of the world."
