NCR has released a new loyalty component of its Silver point of sale (POS) terminal for iPad, making it easier for small businesses to create, run and manage reward programmes for repeated purchases.
With the new loyalty component, the mobile POS now complements the existing automated email and social marketing functionality in NCR Silver.
It easily fits into the checkout process, for automatic tracking of rewards after each sale to provide for customers, eliminating the need for paper punch cards.
NCR Silver general manager, Justin Hotard, said that satisfying best customers is critical to the success of every small business.
"We added loyalty to go along with email marketing, customer history, and reporting to make NCR Silver the perfect fit to grow any small business," Hotard added.
NCR Silver is cloud-based, and uses consumer-friendly technology.
