Israeli cashless payment solutions provider Nayax has expanded the payment options on its VPOS card readers range with the addition of TWINT mobile payment application.

The Swiss-developed cashless payment method is meant for unattended automatic machines such as vending machine, laundromat or kiosk.

TWINT is designed to enable easy and convenient transfer of money using a smartphone in real-time at in-store cash registers, online and cashless payment machines. The app can be used to save cards digitally.

The move is in line with Nayax’s strategy to bring a variety of payment methods to its card readers and in turn enhance customer experience with a wide selection of options.

Currently, the company’s readers support credit and debit cards, EMV chipcards, NFC payments, QR codes, as well as Apple, Samsung, Android and Google Pay, Paytm, Wechat Pay and Alipay.

Nayax CEO Yair Nechmad: “It’s important for Nayax to help give consumers in every country, every payment option available. With TWINT added to the VPOS payment options, we are one step closer to this.
