Navi UPI has entered alliances with multiple franchises, including Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), for the upcoming T20 cricket season.

Under these agreements, Navi UPI will become the official payments partner for these IPL 2026 teams.

During the season, Navi UPI will launch team-linked integrations and on-ground activations, such as the “fastest moment of the match powered by Navi UPI” for RCB, and a “cheerleader partnership” with CSK.

Among other planned initiatives are social media contests, as well as payment-led experiences integrated into the wider match ecosystem.

Navi MD and CEO Rajiv Naresh said: “The tournament brings together millions of people across the country in a way few platforms can. Our partnerships this season are about showing up where the energy is at its highest and connecting Navi UPI with everyday payment moments at scale.

“Whether it’s in the middle of a match or outside of it, the expectation today is simple: payments should be instant, seamless, and effortless. That’s exactly what we deliver with Navi UPI.”

Navi UPI, an NPCI-approved service within the Navi app, enables money transfers, QR payments, bill payments, and recharges. It also offers UPI Lite for small-value payments without requiring a PIN.

In October last year, Navi introduced two additional UPI-based features – Reserve Pay and EV Recharge via Bharat Connect.

Reserve Pay provides a flexible mechanism that lets users block a specific amount in their linked savings account or on a RuPay credit card, with multiple debits permitted against this reserved balance as transactions are completed.

The EV Recharge via Bharat Connect feature targets India’s electric vehicle segment, allowing EV owners to top up their charging wallets directly through the Navi app, removing the need to toggle between different applications or payment platforms.
