Mphasis, an India-based IT services firm and majority owned by Hewlett-Packard, has partnered with Delta Power Solutions to offer new ATM security solutions including single window solution for e-surveillance and integrated power efficient solutions.
The ATM business in India has multiple issues that range from power consumption, housekeeping, cash replenishment and settlement cycles to end-to-end observation and management of the ATM functionality.
The ATM security solutions by Mphasis and Delta Power will help address these issues. One such intelligent solution includes a single user interface with a 360 degree view of an ATM and ATM site.
Additionally, the partnership will help Mphasis solve security issues including theft prevention, theft deterrent, real time alarms in criminal tracking, reduction in overall energy cost spend at ATM sites and proactive maintenance for higher uptime.
Mphasis payment managed services executive vice president and head, Puneet Bhirani, said through this partnership, they aim to deliver ‘all-in-one solution’ to meet the exponential growth in the ATM density meeting the underlying need of security and reducing the operational expenditure.
"The cost of sustaining a profitable ATM channel seems to be a burgeoning challenge for most banks due to recurring components. Mphasis and Delta aim to bring together unparallelled synergies to overcome the current industry challenges," Bhirani added.
